Back in Spring 2022, I was researching ‘dreams of the dead’ and finding out ways to help people process grief. In pure synchronicity, local community activist and death doula, Mary Clear rings me up with a request. A death doula assists people in their last weeks of life, and part of this role includes assisting people in fulfilling their last wishes, John’s last wish was to make a film about his death.
So far two films have been made and there is a third on the way.
Wheeler is going to present these two films and ask the audience to be in them!
‘The Zen Art of Stone Squeezing’ (11mins) is about John’s life as a drystone waller and how he integrated Zen Buddhism and drystone walling to help him overcome addiction and has won awards all around the globe.
‘Dying, Living and Dreaming with John Mounsey’ (20mins) centres on a precognitive dream Mary’s neighbour had about John dancing in his own coffin.
This screening is on the 2nd anniversary of John’s community funeral.
Come and join us for an evening of dreams death and living your life to its fullest.
UPDATE:The venue has a limited capacity all seats have now been taken.
If you knew John, I really really want you to come so please do contact me and we’ll see if we can get you in.
Our first ever podcast is out in the world. I got sit down with Madalitso Band who are all musicians and deep dreamers. Among them is Yobu, a Christian mystic who interprets dreams for individuals who travel from afar to gain his insights.
It was fascinating to be able to sit down with a dreamer from a completely different cultural background and belief system and find the common ground.
Had great fun connecting to fellow dreamers at my talk on Synchronicity at the Folklore Centre. When we hold space for synchronicity in a group, synchronicity seems to multiply!
Currently working on a Synchronicity workshop. If you want to find out more information on it please sign up to our mail-out list:
Excited to give this talk on the fascinating dream-like waking experience of synchronicity at The Folklore Centre in Todmorden. In this talk, I will delve into the phenomenon of Synchronicity, where events, symbols, and actions interconnect to reveal undeniable significance. This presentation will trace the origins of the term and its integration into modern dictionaries, sharing compelling examples from history, as well examples from my own life.
I’ve launched our brand new YouTube channel. Please like and Subscribe. I not only preach the power of our dreams, I live it, as I explain in this YouTube video. Part of my intention in creating this channel is to document my and other peoples experiences with working with dreams, in order to document and share the mind-blowing things that they can do, and how they can inform us in living better lives.
When working with dreams we are really looking and observing consciousness. The great Buddhist Scholar, Alan Wallace has dedicated his life to encouraging dialogues and research between Buddhists and scientists. His work can be summed up simply: If scientists want to observe consciousness they need to get out of the lab and onto the meditation stool.
Direct experience is all we have. If you have had a direct experience that you would like help unpacking, please get in touch.
I give talks on the multi-layered facets that make up nighttime dreaming. This photo is from a recent talk I gave on Precognitive Dreams. While it’s clearly useful to differentiate between our nighttime dreams and waking hours, most people fail to see the links and connections between to two. The more patterns that we can see between out nighttime dreams and our waking life, the more we can get out of life. Our dreams are real experiences in consciousness, just as real as your experience of reading this text right now. If you’re interested in attending one of my talks, either in person or online please sign up to my mail-out list here.

I’m excited to present this talk on Precognitive Dreams at the Centre for Folklore Myth & Magic. In this talk I will cover the fascinating phenomena of precognitive dreams, that is, dreams which contain information of what is yet to pass. I will show and illustrate the wealth of data that has been collected on the subject, diving deep into examples from history, as well as citing many contemporary examples including, an extraordinary precognitive dream that occurred within these humble Calder valleys, the processing of which, as Harry will attempt to illustrate, has some profound benefits. Get tickets here.
Happy to announce that I’m now offering In-Person Dream Sessions at the Centre for Folklore Myth & Magic in Todmorden. How suiting it is to be surrounded by books that reveal the myths of the world whilst helping people unpack their own personal myths, within their dreams!
The first time I started to keep a dedicated dream journal, after about three months in, I found myself browsing through the dreams and I discovered a very interesting theme developing across the dreams. Because the dreams were all so different in there energetic qualities and emotional feelings, there’s no way I would of connected them. However using rational thinking and simple observation a clear theme was chugging it’s way into my awareness: Trains! I was visiting a train museum, I was working behind the scenes on incredibly large trains in a very long and boring dream, I was observing a train wreck, I was visiting large train stations with multiple platforms and in one of the most powerful train dreams that I’m still gleaning wisdom from to this day, I was looking out of a train, that was gliding through a green valley and observed another train below, gliding through the valley coming the other way. It entered a lake and didn’t create any ripples or disturbances on the waters surface. It went deep into the bottom of the lake and seamlessly came out the other side, again causing no disturbance on the surface of the water. I had to ask myself: what do trains mean to me? They are set journeys or fixed journeys traveling from A to B. At the time I was recovering from a couple of big train wrecks within my life path, that meant that I was looking for a new journey, which I can say with the utmost of confidence was and is DreamWork! The train entering the lake without any disturbance on the surface represented my journey into DreamWork. The bottom of the lake being a journey into the subconscious and coming out the other side again without disturbing the water represented the safe a smooth ability of DreamWork to retrieve gold from our subconscious and come back to the surface undisturbed. If you have discovered a dream theme that runs though-out your dreams, book me for a session and I will help you unpack it.
